SKS Power Generation (Chhattisgarh) Limited (“SKS” or the Company) has set up a coal based Thermal Power Plant located at Binjkote and Durramuda in Raigarh District, Chhattisgarh, India.
About SPGCL
SKS Power Generation offers controllable factors like Coal Quality, Coal Cost, Transportation Cost and Coal Sources from different loactions,Water sources.The plant raw water is sourced from the Mahanadi River, near Saradih village which is at a distance of 43 km from the plant by road towards South.The river water is collected by Jack well system to a common sump at the river bed. Pump house is located over the sump. The 3x50% vertical, raw water intake pumps having capacity 2400 m3/h are installed in the pump house. Railway Infrastructures- Connected with all coal mines in region with distance of 30 km to 100 km and Connected with all port and city of India.
What We Can
The thermal power project consists of 4X300 MW capacity power generating units, utilizing the Indian coal as main fuel.The Company is currently in the midst of execution of Phase II 2X300 MW capacity.
